For Educators: High Conflict Situations

In situations in which threats or aggressive behavior disrupt the learning environment, you should notify the individual that his/her behavior is unacceptable and ask him/her to leave. If the person refuses, call the police department for assistance. Anytime safety is in question, you and your clients should leave the area, if possible, and call the police department. If you have any problems in a session, do not hesitate to cancel the session.
